Q: What time should we arrive at, and plan to leave, camp?
A: Week-long campers may arrive after 1:00 p.m. on Monday (no earlier, please) and should plan to leave by 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Day campers should arrive between 9:30 and 10 a.m. and will depart by 5:00 p.m. Weekend retreat campers may arrive by 3:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon. *Please note that campers will be dismissed only to parents or church sponsors.
Q: Is there a provision for health care?
A: Yes, a health supervisor will be on duty 24 hours a day during camp sessions. Campers requiring additional medical care will be taken to McAlester Clinic or the hospital emergency room. Camp insurance is secondary to each camper's personal insurance and will cover some of the costs of medical care (to the limits of our policy) for accidental injury at camp.
Q: Is there a camp dress code?
A: Dress for campers and sponsors should be modest and appropriate for Christians. Special attention should be given to this during co-ed camping sessions. Shorts and tank tops are acceptable. Females should wear one-piece swimsuits or bring a tee shirt to wear over two-piece swimsuits.
Q: May I visit my child at camp?
A: Please do not visit camp or telephone your child, or expect them to call you. Should an emergency arise, please call the camp director and a message will be given to your child. The camp office phone number is: 918.423.0031.
Q: Is there a way I can send mail or email to my child while he or she is at camp?
A: Yes! Children love to receive mail from you at camp! It will be delivered to campers each morning Tuesday through Friday during their camp week session. CrossTimbers makes it as easy as possible for parents when it comes to camper mail. When your group arrives, drop off all items for delivery at the Camper Mail table. It will need to be pre-written mail or care packages and our administrative team will deliver them on the designated day of delivery. You can also email your camper one message a day and it will be printed and delivered each morning. Please place your child's name and church in the subject line. Example: Message for Mary Smith- Edmond FBC. The email address to use is:
If you prefer to send mail through the postal service, you can address it to:

Please do not mail anything after Wednesday of the week your child is at camp.
Q: What kinds of things will my child be able to purchase at the camp store?
A: Your child will be able to buy tee shirts and other items that range in price from $3 to $20.
Your camper will also have opportunities to give to the missions offerings.
*Each camper receives a $10.00 concessions card with their registration to be used daily so no money needs to be sent for concessions.
Q: What if my child loses something important at camp?
B: Please make sure that you clearly and boldly label all of your camper's belongings. Also, please do not allow them to bring DS games, I-Pods, cell phones, or any other electronic devices that would break easily or be costly to replace. CrossTimbers is not responsible for lost or broken articles. These types of devices are most often a terrible distraction to camp.
