PREPARE / ENRICH Training

  • Four different tools are available to assist counselors in working with premarital or married couples:
    • PREPARE for pre-marital couples
    • PREPARE-MC for pre-marital couples with children
    • ENRICH for married couples
    • MATE for couples over the age of 50.
  • PREPARE/ENRICH utilizes scientifically developed inventories, created by Dr. David H. Olson, professor of Family Social Sciences at the University of Minnesota.

The inventories are designed to assess couple relationships in twenty different areas and to generate a meaningful dialog between the counselor and the couple.

PREPARE/ENRICH training is held each spring in Tulsa and Oklahoma City. The event is a one-day workshop, led by Walter Mullican, where you will be taught and certified to administer, interpret and counsel using inventories. The cost for the workshop is $90 for Southern Baptist and $150 for Non-Southern Baptist.

Oklahoma Intimate Life Trainer Couples. These five couples are a tremendous resource in helping you plan to minister to the families within your church and community.

  • These couples are available to lead marriage enrichment retreats in your church, but please know that they are trained to do much more than 'just an event.'
  • This ministry is just a starting point for developing ongoing marriage ministry in your church.
  • These couples have been through hours of extensive training with Intimate Life Ministries of Austin, Texas to learn to assist churches with ongoing marriage ministry.
  • If you ask them to do an 'event' for you, these couples would be investing in a partnership with you to assist in developing an ongoing ministry after the event.

Each of these couples has a heart for ministry that far exceeds their desire for profit. Their marriages have been transformed by the Biblical principles they have learned. As a result, they want to share it with others across our state. So, give them a call or email them about hosting a Marriage Ministry Training Workshop.
