WHAT IS HAPPENING IN UTAH-IDAHO TODAY?
UTAH:Mormons-62%, Catholics-6%, Evangelicals-6%, Baptists-2%
IDAHO: Mormons-14%, Catholics-15%, Evangelicals-16%, Baptists-10%
Both states are among the top 10 states in the USA where the population is designated as irreligious. Leaders of the Utah-Idaho Southern Baptist Convention see a day when transformed leaders, churches and believers are connected with the movement of God as evidenced by every person having an opportunity to give himself fully to Christ for the advancement of His Kingdom. The leaders want to see churches planted and people coming to the Lord.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
You can work along side of the local churches to encourage pastors, pastors' wives, and staff, train churches how to be healthy churches, do prayer walks, distribute literature, conduct Vacation Bible Schools and back yard Bible studies, conduct sports evangelism, and help in some remodeling and construction work.
COST:
The cost for a volunteer to minister in Utah or Idaho is approximately $600 which includes travel, lodging, and food.
