Prayer & Spiritual Awakening

Returning to God Conference Update

With deep gratitude we thank God for His powerful presence in our midst. On September 5 – 6 God mightily touched His people through Dr. Henry Blackaby and special workshops. Between a thousand and twelve hundred people came to First Baptist, Moore for one purpose — to pray and seek God. Testimonies of changed lives have been moving and powerful.

The Office of Prayer gives special thanks to First, Moore for their wonderful hospitality in hosting the event. We also extend appreciation to the BGCO Specialists who led the workshops. We especially thank Dr. Henry Blackaby who was so mightily used by God’s Spirit. Last but not least, we thank God for so many believers who came to seek His face. When God’s people humble themselves and pray, there is yet hope for our land!

A New Resource Released from Dr. Frizzell

At the September conference, we also released the new resource, Praying for Revival, Elections and Key Leaders. This tool helps saints pray with strategic power before, during and after elections. Its main focus is effectively praying for revival and spiritual awakening. It also has special impact for strategic prayers in times of trial or judgment. In today’s society, it is utterly crucial for believers to know how to pray strategically. In times like these, we must seize the opportunity and point our society back to God. Praying for Revival, Elections and Key Leaders is designed to help us do just that.
