VBS FACTS

  • Lives all over Oklahoma have been touched because Baptists have followed Christ and let Him use them through Vacation Bible School.
  • More people have come to know Jesus as Savior through VBS than through any other single church event.
  • Approximately 25 percent of baptisms each year are a result of VBS.

VBS FIGURES

2008 state VBS clinics hosted a total of 421 people 41 associations.

Church leaders trained in 66 associational clinics in 2006: Over 5,752

2006 VBS attendance in Oklahoma: 124,570

Decisions for Christ in 2005 VBS: 2,566

Prospects discovered through 2006 VBS: 10,390
