Cooperative Program Overview
The Cooperative Program (CP) is Southern Baptists' unified plan of giving through which cooperating Southern Baptist churches give a percentage of their undesignated receipts in support of their respective state convention and Southern Baptist Convention missions and ministries. Churches of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma work together through the Cooperative Program to support a wide array of missions, ministries and education within our state, our nation and around the world. BGCO missions and ministries include: evangelism, volunteer and partnership missions, disaster relief, church planting, collegiate ministries, Falls Creek and CrossTimbers camps, and much more. Your church is also a part of the work of our four affiliate organizations: Oklahoma Baptist University, Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, Baptist Village Retirement Communities and Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma. On a national level you are a part of the work of the North American Mission Board, six seminaries and the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission. Through our International Mission Board your church's gifts through the Cooperative Program make it possible for the gospel to be shared worldwide. Your church is a part of helping people come to saving faith in Jesus Christ, discipling and training believers, and planting new churches around the world.
