Assistant to the Worship and Music Specialist
The BGCO is seeking an individual to assist part-time in the Worship & Music Ministries office. This individual will assist in working with churches and Worship & Music Ministries across the state of Oklahoma as the BGCO works to support, train, and equip those that lead in the area of worship and media. The individual for this position will need to be proficient in the area of worship technology and should be able to utilize Finale, Pro-Presenter, Planning Center, and other technology commonly used in worship and media ministries. The individual will work with the Worship & Music Specialist to provide strong leadership and training in the area of worship technology for the purpose of engaging people in worship. Being skilled in the use of social media and the use of social media in the church, especially in the area of worship, is needed. As assistant to the Worship & Music Specialist, this individual will be involved in the ongoing ministries of the BGCO Worship & Music Office such as: SCM, SCW, OBS, OBCC, Resonate, etc. They will also need to be available to facilitate and help promote Worship & Music events as needed. The Human Resources Ministry Assistant assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources office of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma (BGCO). The Ministry Assistant carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: employee relations, training and development, benefits, organization development, and employment. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, but not necessary. One to two years of general business experience with human resources experience is preferred The position requires 20 hours per week. Part-Time Bilingual (Spanish/English) Ministry Assistant
The BGCO Robert Haskins School of Leadership is seeking a Part-Time Bilingual (Spanish/English) Ministry Assistant. This person will work with the RHSL Director in coordinating enrollment, class schedules, ordering curriculum, etc., for the 9 Contextualized Leadership Development Centers sponsored by the RHSL in conjunction with the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Person must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher). Responsibilities would include the day-to-day office tasks with some general accounting and attention to details. Some travel is required. Qualified applicant must be an active member of a Southern Baptist Church. This part-time position requires 28 hours a week.
