At the local level, the Ethics and Religious Liberty Committee is a group of committed church members who serve their congregation by making them aware of critical moral and ethical issues that affect Christian life. In an ever-changing world of shifting public consciousness, it is important that churches be educated and active regarding moral and ethical issues.
At the state level, the ERLC exists to alert and serve as a resource for Oklahoma's Southern Baptist Churches and Associations regarding moral and ethical issues that affect families, churches, communities and the nation.
At the national level, the ERLC seeks to awaken, inform, energize, equip and mobilize Christians to be the catalysts for the biblically-based transformation of their families, churches, communities and the nation.
The Ethics and Religious Liberty Committee of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma invites you to become a key contact for ERLC issue alerts and to start an ERLC committee in your church. Please fill out this form and we will notify you by e-mail regarding critical, moral and ethical issues.
