On January 2, 2011, there were 8,046 children in the custody of Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS). As believers of Christ, we are called to help the widow and orphans (James 1:27). Oklahoma Baptists join together with other organizations to bring light on this devastating situation and need in our state. Please pray how God will lead you and your church to become involved.

 We challenge all Oklahoma Baptist Churches to share the 8,046 Experience and help change the world of Oklahoma children.

Register to Become a Resource or Adoptive Family

The Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma invites you to register as you make a commitment to become a Bridge Resource Foster or Adoptive Family. In 2011, ERLC has challenged each state association to recruit at last 5 families to become Bridge Resource Families.
