Registration is $10 up to one week prior to the event you would like to attend. Registration at the door is $20 per person. Your registration includes resources. If you are attending a lunch time, a light lunch will be provided by the church. Evening times will be dessert only. Childcare is not provided at any event. Registrations are non-refundable.

Please do not send mail registrations in for the “at the door” price of $20. We will stop accepting mail registrations a week out from each event because of the travel involved for SWEET and the limited time to process those registrations. Online registration will close at 5:00 p.m. one week prior to each event date. If you plan to attend and come at the door, please feel free to call our office at any time to let us know at (405) 942-3000 ext. 4318, especially if you are attending a lunch. Thank you!

Who should attend the 20 Town Tour?
Any woman who wants to make a difference in her church or her community! But, more specifically, this will be geared for women’s ministry leaders, WMU directors, Bible study leaders, mission leaders or women’s leadership teams.

Will there be a guest speaker?
Kelly King, the BGCO Women’s Specialist, will be giving a short challenge but the majority of the time will focus on answering your questions and learning about your ministry needs. This is a time to share your concerns and network with other women’s leaders for ideas.

Will there be conferences and breakouts?
Not this year. Think of these events as “short and SWEET”. We have learned that women want the chance to connect with us and to connect with each other so we are dedicating these events for that purpose.

Is there a detailed schedule?
It’s a very simple concept this year. You’ll either have lunch or dessert, Kelly will share a short message and then she will lead the discussion. Each location’s agenda will depend on the participants!

Why are you having them during lunch and in the evening?
To visit 20 towns in one month is a huge undertaking. We want to make the most of our miles and it only makes sense that we try to hit two places in one day (at least on several of the days). While we understand that many women work during the day, our hope is that women can take a lunch break and stop by for a short time.

What kinds of resources are you providing?
Each participant will receive information on upcoming BGCO Women’s events, plus you’ll receive information on new Bible studies, products and missions education information.

Will I need to take notes?
Sounds like a good idea to us! Bring a notepad and take notes on new ideas and ways you can improve the women’s work of your church.

What kind of food can we expect?
Every host church is making this decision. The evening is designed for dessert and the daytime is designed for a light lunch. Please be gracious to our host churches because they are providing whatever food they choose. Do not call the host church and ask them for a menu. Let’s be gracious ladies!

Why are you doing the event this way?
Every other year, we provide a huge one day conference with guest speakers, breakouts and more. It’s a huge event and centrally located so many can attend. The problem is that we don’t have the opportunity for personal interaction. Many times women can’t afford to attend, either because of financial reasons or time reasons. These short events provide an opportunity for you to have our undivided attention. We are looking forward to getting to know many leaders on a more personal level and encourage you as you lead.
