As a ministry wife, do you sometimes feel like you are in the heat of the battle? Do you sometimes feel ill-equipped to meet the demands of ministry? Whether you are battle-ready or battle-worn, don’t miss this special weekend designed especially for all ministry wives. This will be a time of encouraging you in your calling and allowing you to fellowship and network with other ministry wives. All ministry wives – Senior Pastor, Youth, Children’s, Church Planting, Worship, etc. – are invited to attend.

Cost: $65 (4 to a room) or $80 (2-3 to a room) if registered by February 18. Your registation includes program, food and lodging. The cost after February 18 is $75 (4 to a room) and $90 (2-3 to a room). No registrations accepted after February 22.
Lodging will be assigned at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites and Holiday Inn Express, both located within very close proximiety to the church and just off I40. You will receive a reservation confirmation email one week prior to the retreat with your hotel and room assignments.

You will be asked to room with a few other ministry wives due to limited space. The price of the event is the same whether you stay on-site or somewhere else, but we will provide a list of area hotels upon request.

Ministry Project for the Ministry Wives Weekend
We would like for you to participate in a ministry project which tangibly expresses our thoughts for the weekend. We have chosen to provide diaper bags for military moms with newborns. Please bring a new diaper bag of any size or color to be donated to Family Services at Tinker AirForce Base.

Kathy Litton Kathy’s not-so-normal life takes place in Mobile, Alabama, with her husband, Ed. Both Kathy and Ed experienced the loss of former spouses in car accidents. After a 26-year adventure as a pastor’s wife with Rick, Kathy found God’s grace in the midst of grief and loss. He also led her to meet Ed, another pastor! Kathy now serves as a consultant with the North American Mission Board to Pastor’s Wives. |

Jeremy and Jessica HicksJeremy and Jessica will be leading worship for the weekend. As children, they both developed a love for music. Five years ago, the couple were married and use their talents leading worship for special events and churches. |

Q: May I bring my infant?
A: This weekend is designed to give ministry wives a break from the demands at home. While we don’t want to exclude anyone from coming because of their children, please do not bring children of any age to this event as a courtesy to other women.
Q: Do you offer scholarships to the event?
A: Please let our office know if you need to come to the event, but are unable to pay for the registration. While we do not offer specific scholarships, we may be able to connect you to someone who can.
Q: Can I get a discount if I live in Shawnee and don’t want to stay in the hotel?
A: There are still a lot of costs involved in planning this program. We do not plan to offer a discounted price for those not taking advantage of the lodging arrangements. Plus—we want this to be a get-away for you!
Q: Will there be door prizes?
A: Of course! We love giving away door prizes, but we can also use donations for door prizes. If you have something to share, please bring it with you.
Q: How will rooms be assigned?
A: If you are bringing a group, we will definitely place you together. If you have a preference of rooming with someone, please let us know that as well. We are going to do our best to accommodate each request. We encourage you to register early and online.
