Chaplaincy Hunger Funds

Hunger Funds are used to financially help churched with Food Pantries, Weekly Meal Programs and After School Feeding Programs. Below are just a few of the comments from the ministries Hunger Funds have helped.

“We were blessed with 150 turkeys to distribute to people in need in our community. We were blessed to help provide with other items for their Thanksgiving dinner. Our children are blessed for they can have seconds and thirds, etc. God is Good!!! He has made it possible for our youth to not be hungry.” Fellowship of American Indians Church, Chickasha

“We have added a Clothes Closet to our Benevolence Ministry. This has given us additional ministry opportunities to share the Gospel with people in our community who are in physical need. Some do not know about our Food Pantry, so we are able to help them with clothes and food while they are here.” South Heights Baptist Church, Sapulpa

“God has led us to organize a program aimed at feeding the hungry in Marshall County called “Bread of Life Ministries.” Our ministry will provide an evening meal once a week for those who are in need. The gospel of Christ will be presented at each meal and Christian materials will be available.” First Baptist Church, Madill

“This ministry has seen many people and faces over the last two years. We have seen friends go home to the Lord, as well as many new births in our community. The families we serve continue to express thanks for the love that is shown through Families Feeding Families. We must say our patrons continue to strive for change in their lives. Many of our patrons are gaining an understanding for the need for the Lord in their lives and many of these patrons are setting goals to continue to grow closer to the Lord as well as personal growth. So many of the families are working and are trying to provide Christian leadership to their families, and we have seen accomplishments in these areas. We must continue to love each family and continue to lead our friends in a christian and responsible manner.” Families Feeding Families, Bryan Baptist Association
