Refresh, Recharge, Renew
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3:18
Marriage is an incredible picture of our relationship with our creator. God designed it to be INCREDIBLE! Marriage is a working relationship between a man and a woman. This marriage retreat is designed to create time for couples to focus on each other.
No matter where you are in your marriage … newly married, struggling, mature, in a “great” place, stagnate, or anywhere in between … every couple must take time to recharge, refresh, and renew. This retreat at Falls Creek provides will that time. Through great worship, speakers, and even meals you will be encouraged and strengthened in your marriage relationship.
Those who paid to stay with us at Falls Creek will be placed in either a renovated Kannady Family Lodge room or the new Thompson Family Lodge room. Each hotel room is fully furnished with ammenities that include all bedding, and complimentary shampoo and soap.
Those who are staying off-site may stay in your church’s cabin (with permission), in a local hotel or cabin (Davis, Ardmore, Pauls Valley), or drive from home if you live close.
Falls Creek Conference Center near Davis, Oklahoma is the perfect backdrop for this retreat. Nestled in the Arbuckle Mountains, Falls Creek has a beautiful setting, space to get alone with your spouse and amazing accommodations in the Thompson Family Lodge & Kannady Family Lodge.

During the retreat, couples will be encouraged to spend time with each other. We will provide opportunities for that. Not only during meals, and sessions, but also during breaks. Couples will have opportunities to play yard games, hike the walking paths, visit special destinations like Boulder Springs and the new Prayer Garden, browse the new Falls Creek gifts shop, and sit and enjoy a specialty coffee or other beverage together at Cafe 1917.

Due to the environment we are creating for couples, we are not allowing any children to attend with their parents this weekend. I know that this is an inconvenience to nursing mothers, but babies create a distraction from the purpose of the weekend, not only for the parents, but also for the other couples. We want this weekend for you to be about only your husband and you. With a child present, that is not possible. This weekend needs be distraction free for couples working to enhance their marriage, couples who are repairing their marriages, couples who have just started their marriages, and all other couples in between. Thank you for understanding.
